The Historic Champagne Brand Toasts 16-Year Partnership
LOS ANGELES, CA --(Marketwired - January 31, 2016) - As the official Champagne sponsor for the Screen Actor's Guild Awards® for the last sixteen years, Champagne Taittinger, one of the last family-owned and operated grand marquee Champagne houses in the world, continued its long-time partnership on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 with the 22nd Annual SAG Awards®. The star-studded award show took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Vitalie Taittinger, Global Ambassador and Artistic Director of Champagne Taittinger, officiated the opening of the red carpet with a toast of Champagne Taittinger's acclaimed Brut La Française NV, alongside six-time Actor® nominee Tony Hale ("Veep," "Arrested Development").

The 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards was live on TNT and TBS on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT). Champagne Taittinger's Brut La Française NV was served to attending entertainment industry luminaries at the SAG Awards ceremony and the post-awards gala. Overall, Champagne Taittinger donated 160 magnums and 510 standard bottles of Champagne Taittinger Brut La Française NV. Champagne Taittinger and also provided two methuselah bottles, which were signed by The SAG Award winners for an auction benefiting the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. Celebrity signees this year include: Leonardo Dicaprio, Kevin Spacey, Viola Davis, Queen Latifah, Alicia Vikander, Jeffrey Tambor, Uzo Aduba, Laverne Cox, Kate Mulgrew, Jackie Cruz, Lea DeLaria, Selenis Leyva, Adrienne C. This was the defining moment for Champagne Taittinger after a week of SAG-related happenings which began on Thursday, January 28th, with SAG Behind-The-Scenes-Day, followed by a Hollywood Luncheon and a Beverly Hills Rooftop Party co-hosted by Vitalie Taittinger, on Friday, January 29th. The luncheon, in partnership with Angeleno Magazine, celebrated "Entrepreneurial Women In Hollywood" Guests included: Melissa Rivers, Dita Von Teese, Niecy Nash, Adrienne C.
